About the HSC App Library

The library is managed by Digital Health and Care Northern Ireland and provides one easy place to find health apps that are checked for safety, privacy, and ease of use. Every app is reviewed by ORCHA to ensure it meets high standards for:
There are over 1,000 apps to help individuals and families look after their health and wellbeing. Apps are available to download anytime and can be searched by keywords or browsed online.

Helping You Thrive in Secondary School

These apps are designed for Year 8 pupils to promote positive health and wellbeing. They support confidence-building, mood management, and emotional resilience, while offering practical tips to help students navigate the transition to secondary school.

Support for Children and Young People’s Mental Health

These apps are designed for kids, teens, and families to promote calm, confidence, and a sense of control. They include fun tools like calming games, mood trackers, and confidence-boosting activities, all created with input from experts, teachers, and young people. Practical advice for parents and carers is also included. They can be used independently or with support from schools or healthcare professionals to build resilience and develop healthy ways to manage tricky emotions.
