In these activities, pupils will explore the topic of sexting, looking specifically at the pressures placed on young people to send images of a sexual nature, the possible consequences (including legal ramifications) and the strategies that can help young people resist the pressures to share images of a sexual nature.

You should carefully consider this sensitive topic and keep in mind that some of your pupils may have already engaged in this activity or have been a victim.

The delivery of this unit should reflect the pupils’ age and the school’s ethos. It should also be in line with the school’s RSE and internet safety policies.
